Any
work
done
for God
is important…
Service
to Christ
in His
sick,
poor and
abandoned
brothers
and sisters.
How do
we embody
our apostolate?
Primarily,
it is
not the
expert
care we
provide
for the
sick
and elderly....
It is
not even
how modern
the facility….
Unless
we strive
to offer
and impart
to them
the basic
and fundamental
need
to draw
closer
to God,
we have
given
them
very
little.
We
are committed
to
the sick
and
elderly,
in
their time
directly
before
eternity.
What
do
they really
need
in
their shortening
days
of
their life?
What
is
most important
to
them? Our
sick and
elderly
is
our mission
as
Daughters
of
St. Francis.
We
carry out
corporal
and
spiritual
works
of
mercy.
How will
this
or
that work
lead
this
person
toward
their
highest
goals?
Any
work done
for
God is
important.
Preparation
for
eternity...
what
a beautiful
and
awesome
God
we serve!
Do
you sense
God
calling
you
to join
us
in this
mission
to
the poor,
sick
and
elderly?
Join
us
in this
labor
of
love, caring
for
the whole
person:
physically
emotionally,
spiritually
and
even economically. Attend
to
Christ
in His
Brothers
and
Sisters.
When
all
is broken
down...
be
there under
the
Cross with
those
who
suffer.
Join
our
Blessed
Mother
and
Saint John
uniting
the
suffering
with Christ.
“Blessed
are they who ease the days
on my journey home in so
many loving ways.”
